Aphemia
Kicking rock and metal into the 21st century has been Aphemia's aim so far… and they have achieved much in the relatively short time together as a band. The band's sound knows no boundaries, pounding drums and guitars mix seamlessly with soaring vocals and atmospheric, ultra-modern synths. At the core, their strength comes from catchy song writing and instantly recognisable hooks.

The band is currently most of the way through recording their debut album, which promises to deliver great things! The title of the album is yet unknown to the public, but rest assured it will feature tracks from the critically aclaimed Safety In Numbers EP, as part of a much bigger production. Aphemia pride themselves on producing the best studio recordings and then bringing this sound to the stage, with samples, beats and the latest technology all performed live without backing tracks.

Hailing from the UK midlands, Aphemia are building an ever-growing fan base and attracting attention from promoters and media. Here’s what two magazines had to say about Aphemia's music:
Sandman Magazine - Gig review 6th September 2006
“Certain bands you just know are going to be good before they even sing a note or play a chord and the last band of the night Aphemia certainly delivered. They were professional, passionate and most of all determined, they played with a hunger that none of the other bands displayed.”
www.Saggy-Pants.com - CD review November 2005
“A musical display of excellence”
“With interesting melodies and vocal patterns as well as a mix of influence there is no doubt Aphemia are original and different. They are also energetic and atmospheric… I would recommend you check them out for yourself”
