Violet Bio

Violet are a seven piece band based in Derby. They started in the summer of 2007 with four members and have been through a few changes with the line up since. The music they play is a mix of different styles with many different influences. The results make Violet stand out with an original sound. A good mix of melody and heavier vocals.

Violet have toured and played many shows around the UK in the last year and have fine tuned their live set into something worth watching. They have played with such bands as Senses Fail, Deaf Havana, Man Overboard, The Eyes Of A Traitor and Hey! Alaska.

Already having released an album and an EP, Violet are hitting the studio at the end of April to record a new EP with Kevin Peters of Anemic Studios. This will be a new sound and a new set of songs. Keep your eyes opened in the coming year as Violet are heading for big things.
